(mode=mock_outrage) What manner of vnlettered liberals are allowed in the Legion that svch promvlgation of lies is let-by by an Imperial Censor?
To show the magnanimity of the Empire towards its occvpied svbjects we can vnderstand the vse of the fancifvl Gregorian calendar and barely the 'year begins with Ianvarivs' nonsense (only seven days past the ides as we are and no new year in sight for three kalends) bvt to imply a decade covld begin with any year that does not end in I--do yov next, Centvrion, propose to go native all-together and start wearing trovsers in the fashion of the barbarians? Thank you for the wonderful reviews. Your geeklist of them is the reason I decided to find out what the subscribe button does and I found out it notified me of this. It's a brill idea, superb execution, wish I had inspiration and resolution to do something similar in my life.
EDIT: Left the "r" out of "barbarians". Had to put it in so people didn't think I was specifically referring to the Carthaginians or the Gauls.

I'm afraid the BGG Imperial Reviewers Legion's marketing consultants are to blame for any chronological and cultural inconsistencies, as they are extremely susceptible to taking popular opinion and reinterpreting it as solid fact, especially in the case of when decades might or might not begin. Any failures on their part should not be attributed to Centurion Maximus and his men, who are proud (if occasionally misinformed) upholders of the Roman Empire in all its plasticized glory.
Furthermore, I can assure you that Centurion Maximus will not now or at any time in the future, resort to wearing trousers. The line must be drawn somewhere!
