So, in order to keep everything easily accessible and available, I bought a Plano tackle box to store the bits for WHFRP. The box worked perfectly how I organized it, so I made stickers rather than having people just put things back in the box at random. I know it's geeky, but it only took 30 minutes. This fits perfectly in the original box with everything else as well. As I always say, if it's worth doing, it's worth overdoing. For refrence, the plano box i used is 6-21, but anything with the proper dimensions would do. I used adhesive full sheet label paper (glossy or regular will do) and I laminated the sticker sheet before cutting it out using simple self adhesive laminating sheets.

Tim

here is the sticker sheet I made. I can upload the hi res version if people want it.

Oustanding! That is just beautiful. I am also a component storage geek, and I use plano boxes a lot. Bravo to you, sir.

I rather like it with the white background - it makes it seem like a proper label to me. Having the shapes cut out would seem... skimpy? Not sure what the right word to describe it would be.

I originally put this as a reply to Action Card organization, but I think it would fit better in this thread...

As an overall set organization, I was concerned that hauling around the bare box, as it was with rather heavy contents, might lead to stress and/or damage rather quickly.

I lucked out in Home Depot one day, coming across a hybrid tool/tackle box. Built into the top of the box are two removable tackle boxes. The two tackle boxes have compartments which hold ALL of the smaller game components up to the size of the Action Cards. I mean everything! The bigger items, including the books--and even the original box itself-- fit in the deep central compartment below. There is still plenty of room in the central compartment for additional "future stuff."

With four kids, I am on a trim budget, and have no time for overpriced gear bags and minis totes. I caught this particular tool box on clearance for $12.00! The item below is pretty similar to the one I bought:
