That's great news (the shipping cost was about 50% of the purchase price for me, holding me back, now I'm ordering it up!).

Did you say w/wide?... can you repeat that again, please?
I already bought a copy -my student kindly brought it from the US-. But if shipping is free w/wide, I will buy another copy.
regards and happy games fer skorea

Free shipping means free lying, cause I paid 14 euro to my postman!!! I live in Rome (Italy). So, what have I to think now of the bgg
store?

Maybe it was Customs and not shipping what you paid for...

Sounds like duty and tax to me.
So...did they not TELL you what you were paying for?

no...postman said nothing...maybe tax...or customs...but why BGG Store doesen't say nothing about this? it's quite unclear fpr who is not so used to buy online... my final price for the game was 50 euros... (35+15)

I've been down this road many times.
BGG didn't say anything about it as they had nothing to do with it, and no way to know it would happen. This is your own government assessing you with a duty or tax for importing a good.
Legally, it is your responsibility as a citizen to understand what your laws demand from you.
Ethically, there is no way BGG could understand the implications of each different countries myriad laws and tax rates.
Some places will state that international orders may be subject to extra fees that have nothing to do with the seller, but its not common. Nor do I really think it should be expected.
Certainly your postal service should be able to better justify the charges. That seems like a very high charge, but as I understand it the UK is similarly high VAT.
In my country, if customs inspects a package there is a $5 charge, and then they will assess a 5% GST.
