Or are they arched intentionally?

Thanks. I kind of figured it was intentional as I've never seen warping that severe.
Great game, BTW.

I believe they were not designed to warp like this but I think it works.

I thought they were warped on purpose to look kind of like a bridge. So i took it that way.

That was my impression as well - they are arched to represent the bridge.

Mine are warped, too, but I seriously doubt that was intentional.

I bought this great family game the day it was released. The boards at that time were not warped. I don't think the warping affects gameplay and agree it could feel thematic.

Of course they're not warped! They're just printed in China: to even suggest that they might be warped is a crime against the state, and humanity in general. You sir, should be shipped off to a "retraining facility"... for your own good, or course.

My game group thinks that they are intentionally warped. first of all, they DO look like a bridge that way. Second of all, the insert is slanted in such a way to fit them with the warping, which suggests it is thematic.
Also, we think that to place boulders below the bridge really means BELOW the bridge, as hidden knowledge. Or at least it could be played that way. I hope it's intentional for this purpose, otherwise I'm disappointed that the game should have such bad warping.

Mine are warped too.
I doubt it's intentional.

How warped are everyone's? I just bought this game a couple days ago. Mine have a 2-3 mm rise in the middle - not high enough to hide anything or seem thematically intentional and, yes, a little annoying. I'm guessing it's got to be unintentional.

I'm firmly in the not intentional camp. The boards are supposed to lay flat like any other boards.
