I've just had a preview of the C3i issue #24 scenarios coming up and they look like a real treat.

One of the line items I know a lot of folks appreciated in Exp 4 was finally seeing Boudica at work in the Watling Street scenario. Now you'll get to see the front end of that rebellion-- one of the new scenarios is Camelulodunum, that 'colony' town for retired Roman veterans which became the first bonfire of the rebellion.

The other scenario covers what G.S. Paulinus was up to about this time, laying waste to Mons Insulis (but having to deal with special "Druid" rules to succeed.) The real kicker here is that these two scenarios can be combined with Watling Street as a "Para Bellum" campaign, so that losses in these scenarios can impact what the sides bring to Watling for the final confrontation.

Very cool.

Now if we only had a Boudicca leader block. And Zenobia, and Spartacus...

spartacus
Check Franch's leader files. He made a 'special' leader for each army (so if you wanted to designate one as 'different' or "head guy' or 'only works with cavalry' guy, etc.- you now have one that looks like it belongs to that army but it's different.

And he did 2 of those for the barbarians-- one a sort of generic "head barbarian' type and the other a potential Spartacus.

I'm hoping he will do some more of these so that we have a 'special' leader for the purple romans and yes, maybe a lady leader or two.

EDIT: I thought I'd go find the link to those labels (I recalled they were not listed at the base game-- they're at the Exp 1 folder.)

For those not checking the base game page, where I updated my Leaders' thread, a preview of the girls:

By now I prefer the Boudica on the left and the Zenobia on the right...
