Okay, so maybe I'm just really dense, but can you kill ALL of your creeper cards in one turn if you have the flame thrower? That seems to be what the card implies, but it sounds almost too powerful. What do you guys think? ANY creeper in front of you means ALL or just ONE?
Thanks for your input.

"Any" means any one. I was wrong--see below.

Again,
So you are saying that the flamethrower is only good for ONE creeper card kill per turn... not multiple cards, correct?

Yes, once per turn. I was wrong--see below.

Actually, you can use the Flamethrower to destroy a Creeper as many times as you want to during your turn. Since it doesn't say "once per turn" it isn't thus limited. Instead it says "at any time during your turn" which I'd intended to convey (apparently unsuccessfully) that you can use it repeatedly as long as it's still your turn.
Yes, that makes it a very powerful card. But it's supposed to be, it's a frakin' Flamethrower!

(Sorry to contradict you Jeff -- but thanks for stepping up with what seemed like the right answer. And you do usually get them correct!)

D'oh! I'm usually much more circumspect when the card is ambiguous, but I figured it must work just like the Shotgun*. Shows what I know. I'm happy to learn the correct way to play the card. My custom Creeper that's immune to weapons (including the Flame-Thrower) seems more powerful now, too.
I look the liberty of updating the Zombie Fluxx FAQ.
* Note: Shotgun is actually different from Flame-Thrower in an additional way: Shotgun is not limited to Creepers in front of you, while Flame-Thrower is.
