I have found a copy of the German edition online and would like to know the box size. I'm still on the fence about buying it, and as silly as it may sound, this can be a decisive factor.

It is: (in metric) 40 cm. x 6.5 cm. x 27 cm., and weighs about 1 kilo.
(in imperial): 15.75 in. x 2.5 in. x 10.5 in., and weighs about
2.5 pounds.
Regardless of how you measure it, it is a fantastic game!

Thank you, Andrew! I'm still making my mind, but the box is a little smaller than I had thought, and that is always a good thing. I have actually owned the F2F edition and thought the game was fine, but the mishmash of components and a functionality issue really bothered me, causing me to eventually sell my copy. I was planning to get a German copy at the time, but my interest diminished soon.

I, too, bought the German edition online, solely because I couldn't stand the looks of the Face2Face edition....other than the box. The F2F cover looks MUCH better than the German cover; but other than that, the board and bits in the German edition are light years better than their American counterparts.

I finally pulled the trigger. I was inclined to pass, but when the store started a clearance sale, reducing the price of about 50 games every three days, I decided I would buy it if they included it. Today they did that.

And I totally agree about the cover art.
