Lets say your first roll yields two matching symbols and a number. You set those three to the side and roll the remaining two to try for a flash. In the second roll you roll a symbol that matches the first two you set aside but the other die is not a number. Do you wimpout or score points for a flash?
Confused,

A flash must be rolled all at once on the same roll. You never put any non-scoring dice aside, and may not merge dice from two rolls together to make a flash or freight train. In your example, the only dice put aside from your first roll would be the number! Plus, let's say it was a 5; if you then rolled two more 5s, you would have 15 points, not 50 and a flash of 5s.
