There seems to be a bit of a conflict in the rulebook when it comes to claiming cards from the Landscape. At one point, it says that you can claim any two cards if you have outposts/HQ on them and can trace a path of your units between them--and in this case, it says nothing about them being in the same row or column on the board.

However, it also says that you can claim two cards if they're in the same row or column, but in this instance, it says nothing about linking the two regions.

What I want to know is; do you have to meet BOTH requirements to take two cards (same row/column AND link them); or just one or the other?
