Question regarding playing this as a two player game.

When you pull the hoard pile card in a two player game the pile automatically goes to the second player as you don't have the option to "slap" the pile. Anyone have a variant to allow both players a chance at said pile?

The good news is you ARE playing the Hoard Card correctly. This has been a discussion among several people. In a TWO player game, it has been suggested to play it similar to a Quarrel but for the Hoard Pile only. This is an unofficial alternative but some enjoy that twist when playing with two players. Feel free to try it out and report what you think.
