I had heard that the 5th edition was out soon -- the limited edition with gold-plated letters that changed fonts and colors in different lights. I have been embezzling from my son's college fund to save up for it. Any idea when it is going to come out?

I asked about this at a recent convention and one of the company reps openly laughed in my face. I think the "upcoming release" might be some sort of sick in-joke. But I won't be treated like an idiot and so I am not going to buy it even if it is released. I don't know whats wrong with these people - its so obvious that a re-release would be highly lucrative but instead they say they are going with some 9-positional grid with a tri-alignment win condition. You can bet we'll never hear of that again once its been released. Losers! Why did the games creator ever sign over copyright to these people!!

I'm certain this is not the case. It has been confirmed to me that this is a FALSE RUMOR. The origins of this rumor are being investigated.

And I do know for a fact that Grog has NOT signed over copyright.

Well that's a relief. Though in the cloak and dagger world of multinational game publishing corporations even that doesn't provide absolute certainty. With some of the new mind control drugs they have access to they could take control of Grog without us knowing a thing about it.
