So you win by either having all but one of your tokens escape or by having the most escaped. Which takes precedence though? What would happen in this scenario:
blue has 2 tokens escaped and 2 left on board.
red has 1 token escaped and 3 left on board.
monster eats two of reds tokens, leaving him 1 token remaining.
does red win since he fulfilled one winning condition? or does the fact that blue has more take priority? the winning conditions were a bit unclear to me.
No, red has only one of his 4 tokens escape, so he has not filled the goal of getting all but one token out the door. The fct that a token is eaten by the monster does not change how many tokens a player have, only how many he has left to move.
In this case blue would win, because:
1) He can still get a 3rd token out for the outright win.
2) If red doesn't get his 2nd token out, then blue wins because he has escaped with 2 tokens to red's single.
3) If red does get his 2nd token out, then blue still wins because he was first to escape with 2 tokens.
