Here's a situation i came across.
Player 1 has 3 units and attacks in the opponent's battlefield inflicting 5 hits.
Player 2 in his battlefield has "Slayers of Karak Kadrin" but the unit is CORRUPTED. He also has "Shadow warrior", the only unit that can defend the zone.
Player 1 decides to attack, to inflict 5 hits. Player 2 plays a tactic from his hand. "Tear of Isha" which allows him to "Heal all damage on one target unit".
What's the outcome of this combat? The "Slayers of Karak Kadrin" are corrupted, so not participating, the "Shadow warrior" has only one hit point, which he would not suffer because of the "Tear of Isha" card?
Now suppose that Player 1 assigned 1 hit to the "Shadow warrior" and the rest to the battlefield zone. Then what? The remaining 4 hits are inflicted to the "Battlefield zone" even though the opposing units are still there? (One just healed and one corrupted)
If anyone understood the situation, please help!
Thanks!

Outcome is that the Shadow Warrior dies, inflicting 1 dmg on one of the attackers, the zone takes 4 dmg. Healing isn't cancelling. You can only heal damage already on the card, that is a unit must be assigned and applied the damage AND it needs to survive that damage. Only then can you heal.
On a side note, player 2 could use the Slayer of Karak Kadrin's ability to destroy one attacking unit after attackers are declared but before damage is assigned (three possible Action windows to do it in), even if SoKK are corrupted.

Thanks for your answer Rauli, it's clear now!
One last thing,
"Shadow warrior" says:
Forced: At the beggining of your turn, each opponent must assign 1 damage to any unit in his battlefield.
Ok it's a tricky sentence... What i understand is this,
1. THE opponent (as it's a 2 player game, so you have only one opponent), assigns 1 damage, to ONE of his units in his battlefield.
2. If that's the case, the opponent assigns that 1 damage only once, or 1 damage every time the player with the "Shadow warrior" starts a new turn and the "Shadow warrior" is still in play?
Thanks so much!

Yes, your opponent assigns damage to one of his dudes. Yes, it is every turn.
