Before I get involved in this, do you have written permission for this version from Martin Wallace?

I was wondering if the queen approved.

Yes. I have Martin's approval.

Sweet!! I'm excited about this, much easier to get a long, 3-player-only game going like this.

That's a good looking implementation, Jeffrey. It might be worth putting something on the page to let visitors know that this implementation has Martin's permission (unfortunately not everyone *has* had his permission to use his games and artwork in the past).

Just to confirm, Jeff has had my permission to use the artwork.
I tend not to say no to folks when they approach me for permission, just sometimes they don't ask .

Is this a play by email implementation?

Not a play be email, but play by web. Currently there is no email support and there are still bugs to be worked out with the game logic. I'm still running across cases that are not "quite" working. Expect issues at this point.
I might add email support in the future. The issue is that the free GAE service I'm using limits email to 2,000 a day. At first blush that seems like a lot. But with any reasonable level of activity on the site, I could easily surpass the limit. I'm considering doing it anyway and addressing the potential email limit issue if it in fact occurs.

Richard,
As should be apparent, the home page really hasn't been created yet. I've spent most of my time trying to get the game to a playable state. Your point is well taken. I'll try to put a small blurb on the front page soon to indicate that Martin has given his permission.

Added email support. You should now receive an email message when it is your turn.

Great implementation, so far no bugs at all. Do you have any plans to implement a chat feature?

No plans at the moment. But, I could be talked into it. How would you want it implemented?

A simple text box under the game log where players could type messages that would be time-stamped and recorded in a log like the game log would be nice.

If I want to use my Sippar privilege to trade for an extra resource, how do I do that? I am executing a trade and traded in Dilmun and would like to trade again in Dilmun but it is no longer in the drop down menu.
Edit: Also, how do you use tool makers?

Someone else pointed out that the Sippar privilege is not working correctly. It worked at one time. I must of broke it somehow.
Please send a message to webmaster@slothninja.com stating the trade you want to make and I'll force it through.
As for toolmakers. If you have metal and unused toolmakers, you should see in the trade area drop down: Toolmaker. Once you select that, I believe the interface automatically selects Metal for you. Basically, it should work like any other trade.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

I uploaded a new version. I reworked the trade logic which I hope fixed the Sippar Privlege issue without breaking other trades. Let me know if you have problems.

Game 'Deluge of Terror'. I attempted to expand army into Nippur and failed the roll. It is no longer my turn. I have one army left in my supply. Shouldn't I have the option to continue the attack (roll again)?

Yep. It's a bug. I'll try to track it down later.
I altered the Game State and gave you an extra army to work around the bug. Assuming I did things correctly, it should let you attack Nippur again. If not let me know. If you still have an army left after a single attempt at Nippur. Please stop your action and I'll remove the extra army.

Wow...two failed attempts in a row at expansion on a 5+...1 in 36 probability if I am correct. Thanks for giving me the extra chance at least!

I swear I did not load those rolls. Yes, very bad luck.
