If a radioactive zombie dies on the meteor space and was not killed by a fire item, I understand that he leaves radioactive residue and all future fights in that space result in rolling 1 die less then normal.

2 related questions:

Does the radioactive residue also effect attempts to damage the meteor during the fight zombies phase of the hero(s) turn?

Can you attempt to burn the residue on a space in order to remove it from the board?

Yes to both

Thanks.

One follow up: If multiple radioactive zombies are in a space or there is more then 1 residue marker in a space, does each one subtract cause 1 less die to be rolled? (I've always assumed no since that would seem to be way to powerful!)

I would say yes, but the heroes always get to roll at least 1 die minimum.

EDIT: See next post.

No, the rule is a hero in a space with one or more radioactive grave dead rolls one less dice. Multiples don't stack.
