Dominion as a drinking game? why not, right?

I've come up with a few ideas for cards, and I'm curious what the geek community thinks.

Great Cards,
you made an awesome job.
Dominion as drinking game? Such a cool idea.

Thank you.

did you notice how I didn't exclude the non-drinkers? They deserve to play too... but they get curses.

My friends and I just play drinking dominion normally, but if you are attacked you must drink, and if someone buys a province everyone else must drink.

I like the set. Two minor issues:

1. Drunken Monkey says "At the beginning of your next turn you draw only three cards." Drawing your new hand is at the end of the current turn. Maybe rephrase it to: "At the beginning of your next turn, discard down to three cards before."

2. Trogdor is a targeted attack, which is a no-no. Consider something like this instead: "Announce a type of card (Victory, Treasure, Action, etc.). Draw and trash one card at random from each other player. If you trash a card of the type you announced, the player who had it discards his remaining hand and draws a new one." (And I'd then take out the "All other players drink or take a curse" part, too.)

The first card is very, very overpowered! Compare it to Witch (+2 cards, everyone else gets a curse, cost 5), it's alot better, with an extra buy and +3 Coins. On top of that you get to draw even more cards in its duration effect! Just +2 cards +1 Buy +3 coins would be overpowered at a cost of 4, and you added in other stuff! I'm probably taking this too seriously, but I must say its a game winner.

1, How about "Draw only 3 cards for your next turn" ? That way it doesn't allow you to get 5 cards and then discard 2 VPs.

2. Ok, yeah, yeah no targetted attacks. I like the idea of announcing a type of card then trashing it only if the pulled card matches the type. then everyone redraws. But why take out the drink or take a curse? Thats the whole point of these cards... to drink.

You're right. it is a bit too powerful. How about I drop the +2 cards, and up the cost to 5?

as for the "you added in other stuff"... I assume you mean the +1 card per drink you finish before your next turn. That doesn't exactly make it stronger. It could in fact hinder your ability to play actually helping the other players.

Just +1 Buy +3 Coins and opponent get curse/drink and the +1 card per drink bit (lets say this is "nuetral"), seems a alot more balanced at 5 coins, of course all cards need playtesting.

1. I like the Militia-type deal, because it hoses anybody who gets an extra card from someone else's Council Room... but the Outpost-like approach could work as well.

2. How about: "If you trash a card of the type you announced, the player who had it takes one drink, discards his remaining hand and draws a new one." You can make it +1 Drink for the person who plays it, too.
