When I looked at the Looney Labs store earlier today, I saw that the Zombie Boss Boxxes are being discontinued, and are on sale for 50% off, making them $7 for the large Boxxes, $6 for the small ones.

They are sturdy wood boxes, made to hold Fluxx cards, though they can hold any item you want, of course, as long as it fits.

The small Boxx can hold 125 cards:

The large Boxx can hold 200 cards. Here is my own copy, holding all my Zombie Fluxx cards with lots of room to spare:

Finally, a Zombie Boxx comes with a Zombie Boss promo card:

I don't know how many they have, or how long it will take for them to go out of print. But if you have been thinking about getting one, now is the time!

Assuming I want a large Fluxx box (Out of stock) and don't mind a small Zombie Fluxx box, how easy would it be to switch the box lids on these?

I dunno ... you might be able to push out the pins of the hinges and push them back in again, but I'm not sure how successful that would be. I certainly won't try it on my own boxxes.

I'd say you should see if some FLGS or FOGS has a large generic Fluxx Boxx in stock.

I don't have a FLGS and I've looked at my usual FOGS and haven't found it in stock anywhere. No big deal. Thanks.

Saw this thread as I was adding Zombie Fluxx to my list of owned games, and this sale is still ongoing, I'm ordering my large box as I type this!

They also have the Flamethrower expansion on sale for $2, so I might as well snag that too.
