Sorry if this post shows up twice. I wrote it once only to have it disappear into the ether.
The Empress Maud card tells you that you can buy or sell resources at Market prices. Last night, Player A uses this card to sell stone so he can max out a goldsmith. Except he doesn't have a stonecutter. Is this legal? Option A: Yes. The requirements card states you must have a Stonecutter to sell stone at the MARKET. But this isn't the market, you're only getting those prices for what you sell. Option B: No. Clearly this card is used as a proxy for going to the market and all stipulations must be met as usual.
Entirely separate question: We've been playing the Empress Maud card as though you get you're own market to use once. That is, you can buy or sell as many resources as you want. But I've heard recently that you're only supposed to be able to buy OR sell ONE type of resource. Have we been playing wrong?

The rules state "You may sell, or buy directly from the supply areas, as many resources as you like. You cannot buy metal".
Have to take that at face value. You're not going to the market, so market restrictions like Stonecutter don't apply. Nothing about about only one type either, it says as many as you like.
