BGN announced a new version of Ingenious coming out from Fantasy Flight. Has anyone seen or have pictures of this new version?

Back in the days when there were less maps we played every map back to back

Ooh a little higher, now a bit to the left, a little more, a little more, just a bit more. Oooh yes, that's the spot!

Play follow the link back to the other thread and then back to FFG.

Better scoring track seems to be the biggy.

Looks like peg boards with pegs for scoring now instead of cubes on cardboard that can be knocked around and forget where they were

Which they blatantly ripped off from their own Travel Edition, the nerve!

It looks almost exactly like the Green Board Game edition (which also includes the plastic pegs)...

Cheers,
Alex

Overtext is really cool. The best 100 GG I've ever spent.
badge
Well. I'm actually bored with overtext. Why did I give all that GG away?

This is actually much worse than the original cube-scoretrack.

The pegs are so tight in their holes it is really hard to get them out (and in, in the first place).
Sure, the holes will wear out after some time, but that should not be the idea.

Furthermore, the holders for the tiles are pretty flimsy in the new edition.

I'm glad I've got the old one :-)

A plastic divider tray, with small cuby holes for each wooden cubes seems like a much better solution. This scoring track is quite unattractive, although the knocking of cubes is a problem with the game.
