me and my friend played last night and it was a blast.
the following thing happend while a battle occured:
me and my friend played all our cards and we both had an action card in our hand.
i understand that this situation is reffered to as: "holding the line".
but what happens next:
1) do we discard all the cards to their respective discard piles?
2) how many warrior card do each of us draw?
3) who starts the next turn?
4) if we have only 1 action card in our hand, do we start drawing from the fate card, and throw them later in order to get a couple of warrior cards in the following turns?

Hi Oren, to answer your questions:

1) At the end of battle, all played warrior cards and action cards are always discarded. (see rule 6 summarized below)

2,3) In case of a tie, each player only receives one warrior card, and the player of the last card begins the next turn. (see rules 8 and 10 summarized below)

4) I'm not sure what you mean exactly. Can you please clarify.

Thank you for playing.

Peter

RULES REFERENCE:

Far right of page one:
6. Move all used cards to their respective face-up discard piles.

Bottom right of page one:
8. Each player draws a single warrior card and places it face down on his warrior card reserve pile. {Losing player draws a second warrior card and puts it face down on his reserve pile}.

Top left of page two:
10. Whichever player lost the battle begins the next turn. {In the case of a tie, the player of the last card begins the next turn}.

thx for the quick response.
here is an example:
we both have only 1 action card in our hand at the start of our turn.
it seems that we have to draw from the fate deck in order to have more cards. than we will have to discard the those cards in order to draw from the warrior deck. is this correct?
if we both have only an action card at the start of our turn and there is an ares card already in play. what happens if the first card that is drawn is a land card?

Oh okay, I think I understand you. There are 3 ways to gain warrior cards. Here's how you acquire them.

Firstly, you should always receive at least 1 Warrior card in hand from the end of the previous battle. Sometimes 2 if you lost.

NOTE: If you have a warrior reserve pile at the end of battle, you are free to refill your hand up to 4 warrior cards with any of the warrior cards in your reserve pile.

To gain additional warriors (on your turn), you either exchange action cards in hand for warrior cards, or collect more warrior cards when drawing land or ares cards from the fate deck. (see flowchart from the quick reference guide at the bottom.)

If there is an ares card in play and a land card is drawn, the player that drew the land card first receives a warrior card. If they have less than 4 warrior cards in hand, they may add it to hand. Otherwise, with 4 in hand already, the newly drawn warrior must go on their reserve pile. After this, the player that drew the land card must declare battle.

I hope this clears up your questions.
