I just bought The Magic Labyrinth for iPad. It's out since Friday (17 Sep). There's a version for the iPhone and another one for the iPad. It's good looking and rather user friendly. I was happy to click on the "3,99€ Buy App" button until I noticed that it's only a single player variant of the original game

Don't buy this is you plan to play the original version of the game with your kids. There is only a single player mode. The various options are all for the single player game.

I find the statement in the feature list misleading:
Quote:

Features:
- The original version of the Children's Game of the Year 2009
- Various game options and crazy add-ons. Varying levels of difficulty

It's impossible to play with the original rules of the game with this application. There is no dice to roll!!! I'll ask for a refund right now.

Thanks for the heads up. You may also want to write a review for the App Store to warn potential purchasers as they are about to buy.

Am still pleased to see something like this for iPad! Price is $4.99 US which is a little pricey for a brand-new app with no reviews. They should introduce it at a low price until they have a number of positive ratings/reviews, then increase. Ah well.

I did a (bad) review on iTunes.

The price was indeed rather high. My kids love the original one. It was a compulsive purchase
