By my recollection last time I talked to Kyle (several months ago), he said it had been pushed back to 2011. Ostensibly because Jay had too many publishing commitments he still had to go through.
FWIW, I'll have my first edition copy available for play at BGG.Con.

I have received preliminary artwork - check the RGG site and have started collecting partners for co-production (Japan said yes!). I plan to publish the game in late spring or early summer.

No glasses needed. The game description was updated Sunday afternoon. :-)
The standard game play is designed for 3-5 players. The RGG version will, in fact, include a 2-player variant.

Awesome news. A 1st edition copy just sold on Ebay last night for a pretty good price that I missed out on the end of due to my wife making me do work and causing it to slip my mind.
Hopefully they can hold to that time frame, because nothing spells summer fun like a post-apocalyptic ice age game.
P.S. I know this is early, but would anyone be able to tell us what the card size for AS will be. Is it going to be US standard or something else. I still have a lot of extra Mayday Green on hand that are just looking for a new game to land on.

Well, they only have a Tohou version of dominion in the work Touhou Shisouroku: Touhou Koumakyou-hen and the publisher arclight currently has four deckbuilding games (Tanto Cuore, Kunitori !, Barbarossa, El Alamein) and a fifth one in the works. And of coruse a japanese version of Dominion and exp.

I noticed this made it onto Drakenstrike's Gencon preview video as something he was interested in. Wonder if it will finally be available at Gencon or was it just wishful thinking on his part? With the metric ton of deck building games coming out at Gencon and Essen this year will it get lost in the "shuffle"?

Count me in on a copy as soon as it comes out. Really looking forward to trying this out. In case you haven't thought of it you should donate a copy to BGG for the Con in November (assuming it's done by then). Great way for people to demo the game.
