In the picture of the expansion rules it says distributed exclusively in the US by Fantasy Flight. Any one have more news on this?

From Boardgamenews.com: Of special note for gamers in North America, the back cover of the A La Carte: Dessert expansion notes that the item is under "exclusive distribution in the U.S." by Fantasy Flight Games. When asked about this note, Mark Pollard, FFG's marketing content coordinator, said, "Unfortunately, I'm unable to comment on anything that we haven't already announced on our website. At this time, that includes any plans to distribute A La Carte or its Dessert expansion. In short, I cannot provide any details to you at this time, but keep checking our website for the latest information."

So, wink wink and all that...

I just hope I will be able to get my hands on it.

I hope they don't mess with the art of the base game.

They've imported Heidelberger Spieleverlag games before like Bushido, and they're just straight imports with an English rulebook. No art or other design changes made.
