Ship card auction bid money are distribute to other player.
my question is if there are 4 player and bid money only $2 , how to distribute $2 among three other player?

I have never played, but I have just finished to read the rules. I understood that you give 1 ducat to two players and no money to the third one as your choice.

Yup, you just keep handing out 1 buck at a time in order until you reach the amount owed. "One for you, one for you, too bad."

If there's more money than people, then you start over once you've handed a buck to everyone (always skipping yourself).

In our party there are always more money than players... 6 cards always cash over 20. ;-)
