We have Trans Europe and love it!!!

So I'm wondering if there is any point in getting trans america aswell.
Is it just the same game with - obviously- different names? or is there a reall difference??

Well, at least you can cram them both into the same box. The shape of the map is a little different with the red cities all up and down the west coast. I personally prefer TransEuropa.

Interesting, first person I've heard with that preference. I've commonly heard experiences like mine - tried TransEuropa but decided the map just didn't work as well, so gave up on it and stuck with TransAmerica.

Well, my experience is fairly limited, but I prefer Europe too, as it seems to encourage shorter games by being a bit more difficult.

Thanks guys,

I'm currenlty keeping my eye out for a cheap offer of Ticket to Ride, which could be seen as the big brother of Trans Europe.

But I'm in no hurry, for now we're having a lot of fun with this simple and entertaining game.
It still surprises me that such a simple game could be so addictive and entertaining.
