On the topic question: No. Nor does the defender gain the attacker's either if he should Toadify the attacker. You become Toad and drop all your stuff but that doesn't change the fact that combat has started (since you didn't Evade), so you carry out the combat sequence to the end. Attacker Toading the defender is left with taking a life. And then it's a race to see who gets the dropped goods first.

The reason why we started thinking that way was that we ofter solve questions by imagining the situation and if I would turn someone to a toad of course I would grab the gold he dropped etc

And if I want to fight him for a object casting toadify is actually a bad thing since he would drop it and the only thing I can take is a life =P
