The website for the project is gone and the files are unavailable here. Is there any way to get a copy (or to get the files for a PnP copy of my own)?
Thanks.

The files are out there...I have older ones; I'm sure there are people with less-outdated versions.
Also, several of the people involved are active on BGG, so you might hear from them; my understanding is the civproject website will be coming back at some point.
If you want to throw money at the issue, you can try these places:

That's great Chris. Thank you!
I'd love to get newer files, and would be very interested in talking to people involved in the project.
I've been fortunate enough to acquire both the advanced game and both the Eastern and Western expansion maps. I'd love to be able to get a huge game going here with my regular participants and some other locals.

I have some maps on my pc from the project - maybe there is some way I can email you them.
There are also cards on Arts Cow you can order.

Maybe you can upload them on BGG so that everyone can enjoy them

I would like to - but the Geek staff will only allow me to upload a file if I have the intellectual property rights, or have explicit permission from the person who does. I have neither.

Which files are you looking for. I could always set up a mediafire account with only the expansion stuff in one folder. I have had this throughout its many different versions and recently updated my game to the latest edition. I am playing in one of the email games as well.

Hi. I just downloaded the files... thanks very much.
The rules make reference to something called a "scenario booklet" or something to that effect. I didn't see that among the files that you uploaded though. Was that an oversight? Or does it exist?
Thanks much!

I believe it is an oversight or that they were waiting to put it out once everything was complete as I uploaded everything I had. I can check with the creators as I have had a good communication with them in the past.

Even hearing the status of where they were with the scenario guide would be great.

Here is another website you guys can check for civproject:
ftp://ftp.jon.severinsson.net/pub You can check out a lot of files, and there is both the scenario and optional rulebooks. Just click on civproject.net The main files are in civproject, but if you click on contributed there are some other files including two scenarios, and an asian board map.
