Hi, one short question:

The rulebook says that the Genestealer-box contains 6 large weapons for the hybrids (2 of each kind), but how many small weapons should be in there? I fear I have lost a few...

Thanks!

No ideas anyone?

I guess you all glued the six big weapons to your miniatures. If you could just count how many small weapons your hybrids have glued on them, that would be really cool!

I seem to remember there were a few sprues with the weapons on them. I can't remember the distribution of weapons on the sprues. I tried doing a quick google image search but didn't find the correct one.

I do remember having more than enough choice of weapons for the rest of my hybrids with some left over when I was done.

EDIT: If you or anyone else wants to do a search (i will try later but I have to catch a bus) they're from a very old Chaos weapon sprue.

Here is a link to a picture of the sprues I have: (Link removed)

I have altogether 3 sprues with hybrid weapons:
- 2 sprues with 3 heavy weapons each
- 1 sprue 3 bolters (?) and 2 mini-weapons (don't know what that is)

Do you have more of the smaller weapons attached to your hybrids?

Ah, now I see. Yes, the box came with more weapon sprues than that. There should have been enough to outfit your guys with bolters and pistols as well as chain knives and such.

I don't remember exactly how many of each came in the box as it was decades ago when I bought it. As is usual with the old GW stuff they gave you more than you needed.

The mini weapons with the bolters are simply bolt pistols.

I can try to count the weapons of my guys when I get done from work. But it's nothing official or anything as you can customize them however you want to. Still, it might give you a better idea of what you don't have.

That would be great, thanks!

Btw: The inventory file that can be found here on the geek says that the GS expansion should contain "2 plastic chaos weapon sprues". What is that? Are these the hybrid weapons? Or something else I miss?

Yes, that should be them. Something to bear in mind: you don't necessarily have to arm all of the hybrids. Some of the force lists for scenarios requiring psykers will often list at least one as an unarmed hybrid psyker. Of course you can still use an armed Hybrid anyway and just assume that he's out of ammo or something.

Myself, I originally armed all of the hybrids, but I recently acquired an unarmed one off of ebay (an old metal miniature of a hybrid magus) for completeness.

Thanks for the information! So - would you say that my stuff (see picture link above) is complete, looking at your hybrids?

I just dug out my box with the hybrids in it, and that looks exactly right. Two of each of the three big weapons, and several of each of the smaller ones. In fact, you have one more pistol than I do; my extra must be lost in one of my other SH boxes, but I apparently didn't need it since I was still able to arm them all. In fact, I glued a pistol to one figure's hip as a holstered weapon in addition to the bigger weapon I put in his hands.
