My local store finally got the Mosquito in stock, and I *did* pick it up....but I felt kindof silly doing it.

It's a great piece, and it's nice to have a complete Hive game, but I can count on one hand the 2-player gaming oppurtunities I have had in the last year, and I am also moving away from Chinese-made goods in general, and particularly in gaming.

So while the $15 certainly didn't break me, I hope I at least get to try this out a few times. I only have Hive and Yinsh, plus my Chess Board, so it's not like I feel the need to "get them to the table".

You might want to try
Twilight Struggle, learn F2F first game
then play one turn a day on line w/ACTS.
Be careful, it is unexpectedly addicting.

I don't think it's available yet.

I might grab a copy of "Carbon" when it comes out, and give my copy away as a gift to a friend or family member.

My FLGS has it in stock whistle

But you shouldn't get it anyway, unless you want to kill your job

It's ambiguously available (it was released at Essen, and apparently some distributors have it, but it's not necessarily easy to find, depending where you live).
