Hi all,

I am not sure if I'm being a bit slow or what but the Secret Chalice card in the Monastery items deck states that....

you may cancel any event or mystery card.

I know you then have a chance of losing this item after use if you roll a 1 or a 2 which is seems fair, but my question is when can you play this card? I am guessing at any time at not only on your turn? Am I right?

If it is then this card is a very powerfull card to hold( as long as you are not one of those people who always seems to rolls 1 or 2s like me)

Thanks
Jules.

That is correct. Take note though that if you roll a 1 or 2, the Sacred Chalice is actually removed from the game (not just discarded back to the Monastery Items stack).

Thanks for this topic. It answered my questions too.
A great item to hold. Especially when you keep drawing those terrible 'Remains In Play' mystery cards
