Is a player has the "Deliver (discard) two objects" quest and is carrying one object and draws "Bag of gold" can he discard the Bag of gold (since it is an object according to the card) before it is converted into gold?

No, you need two Objects in your possession to discard for the quest. BoG is never in your possession as an Object, you "only" get the gold token.
