I think I have misunderstood the rules, but reading the forums here, I have come to the following conclusion. If the Sauron player (SP) occupies Moria, the Fellowship (FP) player may either move into Moria, or take the Tunnel to bypass Moria and go directly to Fangorn. If the SP has the Balrog in Moria, he may instantly kill anyone taking the Tunnel.
Therefore, if Boromir is taking the tunnel, he dies. If Boromir moves to attack the Balrog in Moria, they both die.
Is this correct? (It's not the way I have been playing!)
