What's happening when Karl, the soldier
fighting against "Gibbering Evil"(demon card from the Manor)?
Does he takes wounds as normal or still grant his ability to
ignore first wound?
--Keep in mind that "Gibbering Evil" hits a dice only--

I never thought about that. But I would suggest that he does infact ignore that wound. I imagine since he is a powerful soldier with special fightingskills, he can take down the "lesser evils" easily.

I don't see anything on Gibbering Evil that suggests it would ignore Karl's power, so it seems his power would negate a wound per Fight Round as normal.
