Is there anyone else who'd love to see an iPad version coming?? To me this game feels perfect for an implementation...either as a puzzle or multiplayer against the clock.

Please reply to this topic if you are interested - maybe we can collect enough votes to make a publisher or coder simply do it....!!!

RR forver!!!

I listed a game called Blocks Mania on the big iPhone GeekList comparing it to Ricochet Robots and (contrary to the collegial and loose spirit of that list) was rudely rebuked. It's obviously not Ricochet Robots, but it has very similar mechanics. I'd love to get your take on how close it is.

Gabe,
from what I read about Blocks Mania I think you're spot on with comparing it to the basic mechanisms of Ricochet Robots.

Do you have the game installed on your device?

Is an Ipad really big enough? Or is this more for playing remotely?

So one could consider it a one-player RR training clone?

I think that would be a fair assessment. I think it certainly scratches the same itch, i.e. get your robot to the goal in as few moves as possible.
