Hello all - played my first game of Ideology this past wekend and we had fun. We see some things we could have done a bit different but enjoyed it very much.

The biggest question that came up was conflict with a country that had more than 1 influence card in a category.

For example - Country X had two Economic cards for player 1. (It was a level 2 country). When entered into a valid Economic conflict, player 2 won the conflict. Question - Was just one card removed and replaced...or both? We played it that just one was removed and a second conflict had to occur for the second influence card...Is that correct?

(For clarity, it would have been nice if the conflict example used a country with more than one influence card...)

Great question, Rich. You were correct: you only replace one card per conflict. You would need to start another conflict to replace another card.

Thanks,

Andrew

Andrew, Do you have to pay all applicable penalties to initiate a second conflict?

Hi, Mark.

Yes, you must pay all applicable penalties to resolve the second conflict. This gives more power to the Level 1 & 2 Advancements.
