Yesterday I proposed a quick question in the strategy forums on how to get Windpact found here:
http://www.boardgamegeek.com/article/6187394#6187394
The dilemma was we wanted to get Wind Pact in Greyhaven, but there were 2 LT's there and I was trying to think of the best possible way to get Wind Pact.
On a better note, last night we killed Merric with no deaths. Basically we cleared the way for Silhouette to have a ready action with her 9 fatigue and a fatigue potion to get to Merric in a tree and put 3 web tokens on him with the Falcon's Claw, then eventually got the rest of the team there to blow him up. We may h
Alric was still there, but we chose to just visit at Greyhaven and make the OL choose what to do. The following week was, attack a full wound group stacked with tons of potions or put a 3rd siege counter. He chose siege counter, so we then took a Train action, picking up Windpact for OR (hobbit and wolf), with Prodigy and 2 silver dice going to Mad Carthos. Meanwhile we picked up 5 more potions filling us to the brim overflowing our backpacks and got Dragon's Breath and Drain Life for Mad Carthos. Staff of Punishment went to Nanok, just in case we had to deal with Soaring Razorwings at all in the future.
The following week, OL put another siege token on Greyhaven putting it to 4. I was a bit indifferent about what we should do, my gut said go for the jugular and take out Alric, but without pierce and sorcery, our damage output seemed negligible. So we went to the Gate to the North, did all 3 levels there netting us 18 CT to OL's 6. The main thing I am seeing here is that CT isn't too big of a factor right now, it is gold more than anything.
The following week he rolls to raze and misses, we then travel to visit at Frostgate and get involved in an encounter. The OL's idea is to get us involved in as many encounters as possible so we waste resources and he may get a kill on us. It has proved not a good tactic so far in this campaign, I think primarily because we are in Silver right now. If we were in Copper level, that might have been a better strategy. Not only that, but if we win, we get around 400-500 gold and 2 CT, which right now is a fair trade even if 1 of our guys die because we need the gold (shh don't tell him that).
Mad Carthos-Blessing Quick Casting, Prodigy and 5 fatigue-Drain Life, Dragon's Breath, Ring of Protection, Aldar's Mirror-B, S, S dice Nanok of the Blade-Cleaving, Swift 6 fatigue-Mace of Aver, Grinding Axe, Staff of Punishment, Amulet of Healing- B, B, B, B dice Okaluk and Rakash-Taunt, Wind Pact and 4 fatigue-Mirror Shield, Crystal Shield, , Hammer, Robe of Kellos, Heavy Leather Armor, Ring of Freedom Silhouette-Rapid Fire, Skilled, Leadership 9 fatigue-Bow of Bone, Skull Shield, Falcon's Claw, Ghost Armor, Cloak of Mists, Scorpion Helmet

Should we pick up Ox Tattoo (no go on Tiger Tattoo, I think we are already maxed on Fatigue), or go for Spiritwalker or Knight at Shika's Tree?
