For those of you who own this expansion, is it worth the $15 plus shipping for it?

Or rather does it add enough to the game play to be considered a qulity inclusion? Or is it just more random mechanics that dilutes what little strategy there is in the game?

Also, are english rules provided for this? All I can tell about the rules so far is what one user here mentioned regarding it:

sross wrote:
There are 10 new tiles, 5 row and 5 column tiles. (One tile for each row and column on the board.)

Each player is randomly given one each. When a player completes a fresco tile that is part of one of his tiles, he can hand it in and scores 2 points per tile in that row or column that has already been completed. If he completes the intersection of his row and column tiles, he can hand both in and scores 3 points tile in both the row and the column that has already been completed.

I enjoyed playing with my copy, but I didn't spend $15+shipping for it. I like the way it changes the value of the tiles for each player (esp. when you may have the right paint for a particular section, but you know you're just giving the other players points for their scrolls).

And yes, it comes with English rules.

I just picked up a copy of this last week from CSI. The rules are in both English and German, but the summary you posted pretty much explains it. I have not played it yet so I can not comment on how much it adds to the game.

I have to say that if I paid attention to how much you get in this expansion for the money, I would have waited till I found a used copy somewhere. I think some of expansions from the Spielbox Magazine had more components.

I haven't played it but it does look like a nice expansion to the game, but the price is ridiculous.

just played this the first time.( got it for £12) in money terms its not worth the cost of a few tiles in a box that you dont need.
in game terms ? i could definatly play on without it but it makes for another thing to do in the game to get a few more points..i like it better than the last extension that i found too messy and hard work for the ammount of points you got - this does fit in with the rest of the game and game play more.
i quite like it, but i dont think you are missing much by not having it either.
