Ok, so... it's pretty hard to find this right now.

The next step was seeing of Zoch Verlag kind of acknowledged its existence. I don't speak German all that well, but it seems like they've disavowed its existence relative to its other games, leaving only a pdf of the game's rules on the site.

The NEXT step was finding a way to bootleg parts from a hobby shop... no one sells wooden eggs that small.

This game fits a niche I've not seen a game fit: a game I can make normally poor-sport kids feel bad about winning against me and my size XL hands.

What are the odds this sucker is going to make a comeback?

I asked Rio Grande Games about Taluva, Balloon Cup, and GG recently:

"None will come soon, if ever. Jay."

Pretty strange. I guess RGG = Dominion these days.

So sad. Gulo Gulo is an awesome kids game that deserves to stay in print.

To be absolutely fair to Jay here... it's zoch verlag that controls the printing on this one. If they don't print, it doesn't get printed.

So when I go on Zoch Verlag's site, and I see absolutely nothing (as much as I can read, I figure 'gulo gulo' is the same in English as it is in German) about the game either existing, or going to exist, and barely a hint of it ever existing in the past... I'd say it's nothing Rio Grande can do about it.

Next-up, wooden beads in the approximate sizes with the approximate bowl.

^^ Fair enough points about RGG vs. ZV. I don't know that much about the production and distribution channels, etc.

I'm just in a RGG depression as it seems that I discover interesting games only to find them recently OOP at RGG. I know there are limited resources to do limited things... just a bummer that some great games become so hard to find.

It's gotta be easier to just order one from Europe rather than trying to piece one together.

I believe there's a copy at the FFG EC in Minneapolis still. See if you can call and order it from them. (it'll be MSRP)

The sizes of the eggs as measured...
25.66x18.83mm
22.99x16.40mm
19.61x14.35mm
17.35x12.68mm

The yellow and purple eggs are essentially the same size, and the top stick egg is the same as a green egg.

Now, they aren't all the exact same size even within the eggs themselves. That is, within the green eggs, they seem to deviate by a full mm in one direction or another.

I have a copy, and that's all well and good...BUHHHHHT... it kind of sucks to have what is, in my opinion, one of the best adult/kids games ever, out-of-availability.

I tried that back when someone first posted about it. They don't ship. In-person pickup only. Not very practical at a 2,000+ mile drive.
