Just got my order in yesterday from ArtsCow. First ever order from them, also got a English event deck for Auf Achse. Pretty happy with the quality of the cards and print.

I'm just wondering what people are using for markers. I guess for the main marker (your location on the map) it doesn't really matter since the tiles are a good size. But on the life/time/item cards, what do you use to mark your items? I'm considering finding simple 1x1x1 wooden cubes, or maybe the little clear plastic 'bingo' chips.

What do you use in your AIMP kit?

Glad you like your ArtsCow deck. Your timing is good, since I will probably have to take down the files in the near future (things are looking good for an eventual commercial version of the game).

The image gallery has my suggestions for the player token.

As for the rest, I use small colored-glass beads (lightly colored, so that you can see what's underneath).

I use a generic green plastic soldier as my soldier.
I use 1 EUROcent and 2 EUROcent coins as markers for all other things.

A Memoir '44 infantry piece, and a few cubes.

Congrats on getting it to commercial.

Thanks for the info guys. Now that I got the tiles trimmed (used the paper guillotine at my work) gonna give it a play tonight. Looking forward to trying it.

I haven't done it yet, but I bought two 'sticks' (?) of 1/4" round wooden dowel, and I plan to just table saw some discs out. Im scouring the internet for some nice little military themed round stickers to put on them, like a little chevron or something. The end result, I hope, are something slightly larger than the 'workers' in Puerto Rico (the game, not the island).
