Sometimes your local game store will recommend you a game. Sometimes you'll buy that game. Sometimes you'll like that game. And sometimes the game be a classic of your gaming sessions! cool

I have two kinds of gaming sessions. On one side long, complex, historical wargames with the usual crew and Internet. On the other side light, quick and fun games with the family and non-gaming friends. Jungle Speed belongs to the later, and goes straight to top favorite game of those looking for simplicity and fun.

The game is based on a deck of cards with colored drawings. All cards are dealt between the players and each player has to reveal a card. If two cards have the same drawing, they have to grab the wooden "totem" that is standing in the center of the table. The player who grabs it first gives all his played cards to the loser. The player who gives all his cards first wins.

There are some other rules, but this is the basis of the game. Comparing cards after cards of similar patterns and colors for a match until you are almost crazy, and beware! if you mistake a match you will have to take all the cards played on the table! surprise

Jungle Speed is a perfect game to start heating the gaming session, while everybody is still fed up with the dinner and they don't want to think too much. After some plays and laughs they'll be ready for the next game in the session. Enjoy it!
