Quick question: are you planning to reprint the previous factions in this new "format" (base + reinforcements)?

Nothing official mind you but from what I've read on the YMG forums there are no current plans to reprint the older sets. As of today only the Orc starter has been reprinted due to stock being sold out. And that was back around the time of Rome vs Carthage release.

We did very large print runs of our early factions, with the result that even though sales have held up quite well through the years we haven't sold anything out yet other than Orc Starters which was due to printer error rather than that Orcs have outsold everything else.

My guess is that it will be close to a year before we next run out of one of the old factions. When that happens we will probably do the following:

1. Wait a bit, while talking with retailers to see if the absence is strongly felt.
2. If we decide to reprint we will update the art -- at least doing what we did with the Orcs (new art for command cards) but likely considering a complete redo.
3. Re-release it in the new format.
