played our first game tonight, and actually only 1 event card ever got played...are we missing something? after everyone has a bonus card, it says to shuffle bonus/events together and then set aside...which we did...but how exactly do they ever "re-enter" the game? there's maybe 1 player card per set that even refers to them, so if nobody is playing that card i guess you could go a whole game without ever seeing/using one? thanks...(other than that, it was fun!)

Yes, each player has a Scientist, every time one of those is played you can draw an event card. That's one of the reasons to play that card.

Usually gets placed a few times a game, in my brief experience.

This afternoon, two friends and I have played a game of Mission: Red Planet, and 3 Event cards have been played. Everyone has played a Scientist character once.

It's not usual to have too many of these cards in play, but they enter the game and, sometimes, decide the winner.
