Wondering whether the east expansion board is designed for two players. It looks like only 3-5 from what I've read, but I don't know what characteristics would make it less desireable for two. We play the original 2P and really enjoy it. We DO NOT use the "provost" marker.

Like water spilled on the ground, which cannot be recovered, so we must die. But God does not take away life; instead, he devises ways so that a banished person may not remain estranged from him. 2 Sam 14:14

It says 3-5 on the board so it definitely wasn't 'designed for 2 players.' If you're masochists, then I suppose you could play on it with 2 if you wanted to, but people might make fun of you and tell you to get more friends.

Mechanically, there are 3 routes into the action city, so it wouldn't make much of a game that way, I don't think.

This is NOT a Chihuahua. It is a Sphynx cat. A bald, grouchy Sphynx cat who will bite you if you mistake him for a Chihuahua.

Based on my two plays on the new map, I think you would find that each player is pretty much always able to ignore the other, while doing exactly what they want to. The game would therefore devolve into a rather bland multiplayer solitaire game.

I would think, too, though, that playing without the special 2-player rules on the old map would produce a similar (if less drastic) effect, so maybe you would enjoy it.
