Start the game with a '3' Neutral Castle in Rouen, which can only be attacked once all of the black units have gone from France.

Put a '3' black unit in Canterbury and also in London. The rest are spread randomly as per the rules.

In choosing the 'turns' one wishes to play, the sequence should be 1234432112344321.

It is only the first two tweaks that are important. Without them, should the black units come out with low values in Canterbury and London, the player choosing first (and choosing the first turn) has an enormous advantage that it's difficult to do anything about.

As to the turn selection change, doesn't that allow the guy in 4th and 1st to grab up a double turn (a really good thing in my experience) pretty easy?
