I remember not knowing what to do in that instance as well ... I think he has to take out a new loan to pay off the extension -- and then pay those off as well.

Hi max! thanks, we came to the same conclusion yesterday night but I must confess it seems to me a "too heavy" integration of the rules (as we had also to put the ship on the bank's port, not to give an advantage to the guy who was not paying his debt)
has anybody any other clue?
