Just want to be sure I am playing this correctly..

When you play a meld/layoff, the first thing you do is look at the card (if there is one) and then you move the car, correct? I assume this is the case since the rules have 1. rules for looking at the card; then a 2. rules for the car

Also, can you play evidence cards, then a ted hinton, and then more evidence cards? For example, you do a layoff, play hinton and take 2 cards and one of the cards is another layoff, so you play another evidence card. I know it says you can play evidence cards and ted hinton in any order, but doesn't say if you must play all evidence cards together before/after playing the Hinton card
