Is money hidden or open? If this isn't addressed in the rules, what's the consensus? I'm up in the air, for though I tend toward open, I can see why hidden might be good also. Thanks for thoughtful replies.

Hiding money does not add much to the game, in my opinion.

All transactions are public, so if the money is hidden, with good memory (or a pencil) one can easily keep track of it. I don't think this additional chore is fun however, so we always play with money open.
