Tried playing Let's Kill this weekend but couldn't even finish due to the number of questions that came up in our attempt. Hopefully someone can shed some light. I did read a few other posts regarding rules so I'll try to include them below

1. Is the general play area considered a location? Ie: If you have a weapon that can kill 2 people, can you play it on 2 victims in the general play area (ones not on a location card)?

2A. How do you move victims to location cards exactly? You start the game with 1 victim per play in the general play area. If you then draw a location card such as the movie theatre (no limit for victims), can you move all those in the general play area?

2B: I read in another thread something about drawing a location card then you draw til you get a victim card and when you do place that in that location card. So taking the above example, you draw the movie theatre location card which has no limit, can you keep placing victims there? This ties in to the general play area being a location. If you can't whack more than 1 victim in the general play area, wouldn't you want to start moving people to locations so you can do multi kills?

2C: If a weapon can only kill 2 people, and there are more than 2 in that location, can you still choose 2 or can you not do any killing (ie: the excess could be witnesses)

3. Can you play more than 1 event card on the same incident pile? I know you can only have one media relations card per incident but what about regular event cards? Any limits per incident stack?

4A. If you draw the location card 'Your Basement' and you put a victim in there which can lead to a shootout, will the shootout still occur? Ie: You put the Pres of the USA in Your Basement and I can't see how the secret service will be there (you kidnapped him afterall). Same question for a postal worker, etc. You would think any victim in your basement would have any guns removed prior to chaining them

4B: Can another player place a surprise card on a victim on the Your Basement card (see above)

5. There was a weapon card (poison) which says kills all students. Does that mean you can not use that weapon card on any victim which doesn't have the student attribute? Does that kill all students in a specific location or anywhere on the board (any location card as well as the general play area)?

I'm sure I'll have more but maybe getting answers on these will allow us to actually finish a game of Let's Kill. Thanks in advance

1. No. The Victims in the general play area are "about town."

2A. Victims gather at locations as they are drawn.

2B. In order: yes and yes.

2C. You kill two and the other flee to the general play area.

3. Yes, yes, and no.

4A. Yes, the Shootout still occurs. Regarding the removal of guns before stuffing your Victim into a hole in your basement: your intuition is good, but not appropriate for a card game. Such levels of simulation would be more appropriate for the Let's Kill RPG and, of course, the Let's Kill LARP.

4B: Yep.

5. Yes. Anywhere.
