.Hack is pretty awesome in gameplay if not art.
X-Files was fun but I'm not sure if the gameplay is actually good or if I just have fond memories of it. The fact that there were only two (well, technically three) sets and that the main characters were easily acquired is a plus. Star Wars is clunky and poorly designed. Wars is a bit better but still kind of clunky. Star Trek 1st edition is also very clunky. Second edition is much better and there were fewer expansions.
Basically the problem with Star Wars and Star Trek 1st edition is that a lot of the cards referenced specific other cards and getting them all into play at the same time was a chore. What's worse is that a lot of the cards in Star Wars referenced cards that could only be in your opponent's deck so if they weren't playing with them the card was either useless or just mostly ineffective. Some people complain that Star Trek (both editions) isn't very interactive since you solve missions and try to overcome your opponent's dilemmas rather than engaging in direct conflict but I think that's part of the game's charm. Although it can be a bit weird to have Klingons running around getting points for doing science missions instead of blasting stuff out of the sky.

Rage also has a bunch of fan made print and play sets available. They're all fully illustrated and were extensively playtested (in many cases better than some of the original cards...) There's a bunch of sets available here on BGG.
Or you can play online using Lackey.

I played Hecatomb a little back when it first came out and I will say it was pretty entertaining. The mechanic of stacking the cards up to make super monsters was pretty neat, and the theme was a lot of fun. Also, production was fairly high, as all the cards had really nice art.
