For HOSPITAL donation, players may immediately care for a plague-infected inhabitant (in turn) as long as they have enough medical knowledge. In what way can you do that. If for instance a house has the number 5 on it(that means 5 inhabitants in the house) in what way do you care some of them?

If I remember correctly: you only get to heal someone AFTER the building is finished (like it is with all donations). And then it works the same way as if you would cure someone with your medical-card: just show the required amount of medical knowledge (in your example: 5), remove the plague-token from the board, and get your reward.

When the building is completed you may heal one location as per the medicine card, you can't partially heal a location. It does not work precisely according to the medicine card because you may only heal one location as opposed to multiple locations using the card (if you have sufficient medical knowledge).
Note that it is also important to use the correct player order, if multiple players get the benefit, when healing (starting from the active player going clockwise) as it possible that later players may find themselves without a location they are able to heal.
